Whats the difference between Thatcham S5 and S7

There are currently two recognised criteria for S5 and S7. The S5 is the more advanced of the systems because of the inclusion of driver recognition. If your Driver Detection card is not within the vehicle when driving the Global Telemetrics Secure Control Centre will contact you to confirm your vehicle is safe.
