What is remote immobilisation?

The Connect 5+ is a Thatcham approved S5 tracking system which features all the benefits of our Connect 5 devices as well as the introduction of remote immobilisation. Remote immobilisation is a feature that can be activated upon police request in the event of a theft, ensuring that the vehicle, once stationary, cannot be moved again allowing for a swift and safe recovery.
